Windows Mobile 6 BSP for i.MX31 Multimedia Processor - Freescale

Freescale announced the Windows Mobile 6 board support package (BSP) for the popular i.MX31 multimedia applications processor platform. Freescale's board support package is designed to provide an efficient migration path from previous versions of Windows Mobile platform.
Freescale's board support package are designed to include a boot loader, OEM adaptation layer (OAL), device drivers for peripherals on the i.MX31 ADS board, configuration files and build scripts, release notes, documentation and user manual.
The i.MX31 Windows Mobile 6 BSP comes with the requisite components, including the OS kernel and GUI, device drivers and test suites.

The i.MX31 makes the advanced BSP ideal for feature-rich Windows Mobile phones, navigation devices and other handhelds devices, opening access to the rich Windows Mobile features, such as a video player, web browser, instant messaging and voice applications.
The i.MX31 processor is designed to include leading power management, security management, digital rights management, and image processing technology, a formidable combination of features OEMs desire to drive high-performance video, audio and 3D gaming content on wireless mobile devices.
The application of i.MX31 multimedia applications processor: smartphones, video and audio media players, automotive entertainment systems, GPS systems, mobile gaming consoles, handheld computers, PDAs and other wireless mobile devices.
The i.MX31 multimedia applications processors are commercially shipping in volume now.
The i.MX31 Windows Mobile 6 BSP, as well as the recently announced i.MX31 Windows CE 6.0 BSP, is available for download now at no charge on the Freescale Web site.
