Jacket Micro Devices, Inc introduced the M30001, a WiMAX front end module. The module contain all  components required to interface WiMAX transceivers more directly to the antenna. The M30001 WiMAX front end module is addressed to 4G multi-mode multi-band applications. The module support the IEEE 802.16e-2005 interface definition, and has power coupling and detection.

Jacket Micro Devices, Inc claim, the M30001 WiMAX front end module supports virtually any transceiver or baseband architecture. The module support WiMAX applications in European, Asian  and North American markets.

The M30001 WiMAX front end module is a fully matched 40-pin, full-duplex front-end module in an LGA package (7.5 x 7 x 1.4 mm).

The M30001 WiMAX front end module  is scheduled to be available for development sampling in Q2 this year.
