Voice Synthesis IC with OTP Memory - ML22P80X - OKI

OKI Electric Industry released new voice synthesis chips, the  ML22P80X Series. The new chips include the circuits for OTP (One Time Programmable) memory, analog, and voice synthesis all in a single chip.

The ML22P80X Series:

  • ML22P802 - 2Mbit
  • ML22P804 - 4Mbit
  • ML22P808 - 8Mbit

All those chips are fully compatible with ML2280X Series (using P2ROM).

Masahiko Morioka, OKI, said:

…we provide a voice LSI with P2ROM(TM) and OTP memory, customers can choose which memory to use depending on their situation…
