Virtex-5 Rugged Embedded Computing - Nallatech

Nallatech announced the development of new Virtex-5 based rugged embedded computing family, based upon standard form factors including XMC, VXS (VITA 41) and VPX (VITA 46). This product offers combination of processing and I/O capabilities, delivering a complete system solution for aerospace, defense, and security applications, including RADAR, software defined radio (SDR),  and signal intelligence (SIGINT).

The new Virtex-5 Embedded Computing will feature rugged products to provide customers with industry leading solutions for use in a wide range of operating environments. Xilinx Virtex-5 LXT and SXT FPGAs, with features including ExpressFabric technology, high-bandwidth on-chip memory and embedded DSP blocks, provide significant performance benefits, combined with low power consumption offered by 65nm triple-oxide technology.

Virtex-5 products will be delivered to customers in Q4 of 2007.
