TI’s ZigBee Solution Received Golden Unit Status

Texas Instruments announced that TI has achieved Golden Unit status for its Z-Stack ZigBee solution for their CC2420 Zigbee radio transceiver and CC2430 Zigbee SoC.
Golden Unit status is awarded to the first platforms to implement the latest version of the ZigBee standard and to pass independent testing by one of two ZigBee qualified testing labs. Golden Units are then established as reference points for future ZigBee Compliant Platform (ZCP) testing.

For development, TI offers the CC2420ZDK Pro and CC2430ZDK Pro kits ZigBee development kits. The kits include hardware and software for various ZigBee application development.. The kits also include an evaluation version of IAR Embedded Workbench and the examples.
