NXP introduced the TDA18292 Multi-band Silicon TV Tuner, supporting the five global TV standards for portable devices (DVB-T, DVB-H, DVB-SH, T-DMB, ISDB-T) and five prominent frequency bands (VHF, UHF, L1, L2, S-band). The ultra-low power, small footprint, low noise and high immunity and connectivity standards, makes the TDA18292 tuner IC a suitable TV solution for notebooks,  Portable Multimedia Players (PMP), portable DVD players, portable navigation systems (GPS), USB sticks and mobile phones.
