SiliconSystems announced its new solid-state storage product called SiliconDrive USB Blade. The new product is a replacement for hard drives and flash cards in host systems that require low power and scalable storage solutions, especially in embedded applications. SiliconDrive USB Blade is designed for embedded storage applications where board space, temperature, vibration, shock resistance and durability are key design decisions.
