Nallatech introduce three additional products to its PCI-104 portfolio. The new PCI-104 products strengthens the company’s position as the dominant supplier of COTS PCI-104 FPGA embedded products for the defense and security markets. These new PCI-104 products offer a range of multi-card PCI-104 stacks, delivering optimal price-performance real-time embedded products.

The new series of PCI-104 FPGA products provide customers with a choice of five powerful platforms for the development and deployment of complex embedded systems across a variety of application areas including signals intelligence, avionics, software defined radio and autonomous vehicles. Each product in the series is capable of supporting a variety of sensor interfaces and memory types, and can be scaled from a two-card stack supporting a single Xilinx Virtex(TM)-4 FX FPGA, up to a five-card stack supporting seven Virtex-4 FPGAs.
Individual PCI-104 stacks can be physically scaled up or down using Nallatech's Variable Height Software (VHS) accessory tool. Using the VHS tool, customers developing applications with a Nallatech PCI-104 stack can add or remove FPGA cards in order to meet the size, weight and power (SWAP) constraints of their specific application environment. This unprecedented level of flexibility allows customers to tailor standard COTS products to meet the specific processing, memory and I/O requirements of their target system without incurring any NRE costs.
