ADLINK releases two new 8-slot 3U PXI chassis: the PXIS-2558T (with 8.4" LCD touch panel screen) and the PXIS-2508 (without LCD). The ADLINK PXIS-2508/2558T is a highly portable 3U PXI chassis equipped with advanced features and functionalities that comply with PXI and CompactPCI specifications. Offering one system slot and seven peripheral slots, the PXIS-2508/2558T is set in a sleek and lightweight chassis for superior portability, wider operating temperature range, lower operating noise, and robust system build. The new PXI chassis have embedded chassis management mechanism which automatically regulates the speed of two 60 CFM fans based on the internal temperature, maintaining operating temperature range of 0-131°F. Fan speed, chassis temperature, and system voltage are continually self-monitored to ensure system stability. Remote management is supported as the control board exports these sensor readings directly to a remote computer using the standard RS-232 port.

The PXIS-2558T PXI chassis provides the same features as the PXIS-2508 PXI chassis, but with the addition of an integrated 8.4", 800×600 resolution LCD touch panel display for greater convenience in carrying out PXI-based tests at any location.
