Programmable Spread Spectrum Clock Generators - SL15100 and SL15101 - SpectraLinear

SpectraLinear released its SL15100 and SL15101 programmable spread-spectrum clock generators. The SL15100 and SL15101 reduce electro-magnetic interface emissions (EMI) without the need for shielding and R/C/L filters. The spread spectrum function of the new chips can be turned off without any performance degradation, enabling system designers to replace a wide range of crystal oscillators (XOs) with a single programmable device. The new programmable spread-spectrum clock generators can be used in a wide range of handheld and portable, digital entertainment, consumer and communications applications, including servers, routers, switches, set-top boxes, HDTVs, base stations, games, PC, digital still cameras, copiers, and printers.
