New microcontrollers of Atmel’s SAM7 family of ARM7â„¢-based USB MCUs

Oct 24, 2006. Atmel released three new microcontrollers to its SAM7 family of ARM7™-based USB MCUs with 32-, 256-, and 512-Kbytes Flash memory. SAM7SE microcontrollers include an external bus interface (EBI) that provides access to massive amounts of external NAND Flash, SDRAM, CompactFlash®, SRAM and ROM storage. These chips are ideal for data logging in medical applications.
