Microchip open the registration for its worldwide embedded control seminar series. The seminars will teach how to get 32-bit performance with 8-bit simplicity using Microchip's 16-bit PIC microcontrollers and dsPIC Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs). This seminar series is intended for embedded systems designers not familiar with Microchip's 16-bit PIC24 and dsPIC DSC offerings who need to reduce their time to market and require 16/32-bit performance microcontrollers with well supported, easy-to-use powerful development tools.
Technical experts will showcase the architectural and peripheral features of Microchip's 16-bit PIC24 microcontrollers and dsPIC33 DSCs. They'll also offer demonstrations of Microchip's easy-to-use development tools and free software libraries, including the design of LCD, Ethernet and speech-processing applications.

Agenda:
- Overview of the broad range of software libraries and development tools that reduce your development time and get your product to market quickly
- Introduction to the key architectural and peripheral features
- Learn how to combine peripheral features, architectural features and software libraries to create new designs more easily
- Overview of the training resources Microchip offers to help you get started solving your next application requirement
- Overview of three 16-bit product families, the PIC24F, PIC24H and dsPIC33, with detailed application case studies
The registration fee of $25 includes copies of the free MPLAB Integrated Development Environment and several software libraries. Attendees will also have the option of upgrading their reservation to the $99 level. This steeply discounted upgrade price includes the following two world-class hardware development tools: the MPLAB ICD 2 Limited Edition, an all-in-one, low-cost solution for the real-time in-circuit debugging and programming of Microchip's entire 16-bit portfolio; and the 16-bit 28-Pin Starter Development Board, which serves as a development kit and evaluation tool for Microchip's 16-bit microcontrollers and DSCs.
Seminars will be held at Microchip’s worldwide network of Regional Training Centers, first seminar scheduled for May 23rd in Tempe, Ariz.
