Raza Microelectronics (RMI) announced the MC4100 series of AMC (Advanced Mezzanine Card). The AMC Cards are targeted for networking applications requiring deep packet manipulation and inspection. The MC4100 Advanced Mezzanine Cards are address the Wireless LAN, IP Networking, 3G Wireless, VoIP, broadband, router and advanced telecommunication applications.

The first card in Advanced Mezzanine Card family, the MC4104 is targeted to 4 Gbps applications and offers a processor choice, based on the XLR 500 Series, a pin-compatible solution, comprised of either the XLR532, the XLR516 or the XLR508 Processor. The solution offers a total of 4 GigE ports and 1Gb of DDR2 memory and 128 MB Flash memory.
