KUKA KR 1000 Titan 6 Axis Industrial Robot, the Guinness Book Strongest Robot

KUKA Robotics introduced its large and strong KUKA KR 1000 Titan 6-Axis Industrial Robot. The new robot has a payload capacity of 1000 kg and a reach of 3200 mm and is designed to handle extremely heavy lifting and manipulation applications. The robot is targeted to industries requiring a heavyweight robot such as automotive, foundry industries and building materials.

The KUKA KR 1000 Titan 6 Axis Industrial Robot is the right choice when it comes to bridging distances of up to 6.5 m and ensuring precise handling of engine blocks, stone, glass, steel sections, components for ships and aircraft, marble blocks, precast concrete parts and much more.

With the Windows-based KUKA Controller KR C2, you benefit from technology that has been service-proven thousands of times, and which will simplify the installation, commissioning and programming of your robot. The new drive concept of the KUKA KR 1000 Titan 6 Axis Robot with its nine integrated motors also uses the KR C2 for its control and power supply.

The KUKA KR 1000 Titan 6 Axis Robot recently earned its place as the world's strongest robot in the Guinness Book of Records. It has a total of nine motors, which together deliver the power of a mid-sized car. It features a robust steel base frame and a new drive concept. In axes 1 and 3, two motors feed into a single gear unit. Axis 2 is powered by two motors, each with its own gear unit. The KUKA titan can withstand a static torque of 60,000 newton meters (Nm).
