August 21st, Atmel and Jungo Software Technologies, a leading provider of USB/PCI software solutions, announced today the availability of Jungo’s USBware Embedded USB Software Stacks for Atmel’s Smart ARM Microcontrollers.
The AT91 ARM 7 and ARM 9 -based microcontrollers include on-chip device and host USB functionality.. Jungo’s USBware features an operating system independent implementation of the USB protocol, facilitating development with any operating system, including common RTOS such as eCos/eCosPRO, uC\OS-II, OSE, ThreadX, Linux®, Vxworks® WinCE, XPe, Integrity®, pSOS, MQX, Nucleus, embOS and proprietary 16/32-bit operating systems.
