InSight USB Link, ZigBee Wireless Applications Development Tool - Amber

Ember announced the InSight USB Link, a new tool for ZigBee wireless applications development. The InSight USB Link includes a PnP USB adapter and flash programming tool.  This new tool makes programming Ember's ZigBee modules become easier. Using this programming tool, engineer will be able to connect to Ember’s ZigBee RF transceiver module EM250 or EM260 and upload ZigBee application firmware.

The InSight USB Link is targeted for engineers seeking a low-cost ZigBee development platform, without the need for significant network-level debugging. This product can also be integrated in production line of electronic manufacturing process.

Btw, fyi, for programming via Ethernet link, you can use Ember’s InSight Adapter which is ideal for network level programming and debugging.

Insight USB Link performs the same FLASH programming functions found in the Ethernet-based InSight Adapter. However, unlike the InSight Adapter, which able to perform network-level debug and packet trace functions, the USB Link programmer is far more too simple. Insight USB Link is specifically designed to program the EM250 platform, without network debugging capability.
