Hitachi Entier Embedded Database Supports Wind River Devices

Jan 11, 2007. Hitachi Entier embedded relational database management system (RDBMS) is going to support Wind River devices. Entier RDBMS available for Wind River Consumer Devices-Linux Edition (PCD-LE) and the Consumer Devices-VxWorks Edition (PCD-VE).

Hitachi Entier RDBMS is an embedded database management system. Entier is designed for small footprint consumer devices that require a fast, powerful, standards-based database manager. Entier offers two powerful application-optimized search technologies that make a device easier to use, more responsive, while at the same time dramatically reducing the amount of code an embedded application developer needs to write.It has ability to search multidimensional data structure using the SQL language.
