High Voltage ICs from International Rectifier
Posted in Device Interfacing, Actuator, PowerOn Friday, January 12, 2007
International Rectifier introduced a series of single-channel high-voltage integrated circuits (HVIC). The IRS211(7,8) family of 600V driver ICs provide low input current of 40 microamps and an output signal of 0 to 15 volts. The IRS2117 and IRS2118 feature common mode rejection of 50V/ns.
Applications:
- motor control,
- lighting,
- switching power supplies,
- industrial and welding,
- solar panel battery chargers.
The new devices utilize IR's advanced high-voltage IC process which incorporates next-generation high-voltage level-shifting and termination technology to deliver superior electrical over-stress protection and higher field reliability.
