EION Wireless Introduces Libra MAX WiMAX Platform

Posted in Brief News
On Thursday, October 12, 2006

EION Wireless announced the Libra MAX™ product family. The Libra MAX architecture, a platform for WiMAX broadband wireless networks and for integrating EION’s IP Intelligence, is an evolution of the field-proven Libra MX products purchased by EION from Wi-LAN Inc. in April 2006. Dual-mode operation, part of the Libra MAX architecture, means operators can roll-out industry standard 802.16-2004 WiMAX interoperable public networks as well as proprietary Turbo W-OFDM networks when service requirements dictate greater security and performance.
