Posted in Texas Instruments, General Purpose, PowerOn Friday, April 13, 2007
Texas Instruments introduced the TPIC74100-Q1, a new DC/DC Voltage Regulator IC for automotive applications. The new voltage regulator is able to switches between buck and boost modes autonomously, to provide a regulated 5 Volts output. The chip can handle input voltage between 1.5 to 40 Volts. Along with voltage regulating function, this chip also has EMI suppressing system using clock modulating technique.
