  • The phyCORE-PXA270 is a small, feature rich, insert-ready module based on the XScale PXA270 applications processor from Marvell. The phyCORE module integrates features like Ethernet, CAN, and Audio/Touchscreen codec, offering all the features required for strong multimedia and high bandwidth communication applications.
  • PHYTEC and Adeneo are Gold level members of the Microsoft Windows Embedded Partners Program

PHYTEC's phyCORE-PXA270 Rapid Development Kit along with Adeneo's BSP is the key starting point for OEMs developing smart Windows Embedded CE based devices and offers a robust solution for OEM's needing to have a complete Windows Embedded CE solution up and running under very short development time.

Thomas L. Walker, PHYTEC America, said:

PHYTEC is recognized for the quality of its products and its services. We have partnered with Adeneo to offer our customers a wider variety of Windows CE solutions and by adding the Windows Embedded 6.0 BSP to our product offerings we further increase the value of PHYTEC's off-shelf solution to OEM users…

Yannick CHAMMING'S, Adeneo, commented:

This new release of our BSP for phyCORE module is one step further in our collaboration with PHYTEC. The combination of PHYTEC's strong skills in providing reliable off the shelf embedded modules with Adeneo's expertise on integration of Windows Embedded CE into customer designs brings a unique complete answer to OEM willing to secure the availability of their design with the best time to market…

Windows Embedded CE 6.0 boasts a re-engineered kernel with capabilities such as a capacity for 32,000 simultaneous processes and 2 GB of virtual memory address space per process while maintaining the software's real-time capabilities. This enables developers to incorporate larger numbers of robust applications into more intelligent, complex devices.
