BlueRadios recently launched the BlueSensor, a bluetooth temperature sensor, which eliminate the need of wire and cable for retrieving temperature data. BlueSensor bluetooth temperature sensor, is designed to store and forward temperature data in XML or raw data formats. This temperature sensor module can store up to 8064 readings.

Mark Kramer, BlueRadios, Inc., said about this temperature sensor:

The beauty of these data radios are its ease of use and self discovery due to the 2.4GHz international Bluetooth standard…

These radios provide a ready-engineered OEM sensor product solution for a point-to-point Bluetooth cable replacement seamlessly connecting others using several popular SPP, FTP, and DUN profiles…

BlueSensor bluetooth temperature sensor can be controlled via simple AT-Commands over the Bluetooth RF link or directly through UART serial connection. BlueSensor is used for both secure and non-secure applications for many markets including transportation freight, medical, and military. For secure applications, BlueSensor temperature sensor offers both encryption and PIN access verification.
