Through CSR’s eXtension Partner Programme, BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon now offers NXP speech enhancement software for bluetooth headsets, hands-free and handphones. NXP Software's LifeVibes Voice engine features enhancement of incoming and outgoing speech and suppresses background noise. It offers full duplex communication, improving the quality of voice communication over a Bluetooth in noisy environments

CSR’s Multimedia platform is the Bluetooth platform which can support third party audio enhancement software.

NXP’s LifeVibes Voice engine features AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation)  technology, noise cancellation and voice clarity improvement. Using LifeVibes Voice engine technology, users can talk and listen comfortably in even the train stations or noisiest city streets.
