AMD LIVE! Home Cinema System Reference Design - GDA Technologies

GDA Technologies Inc, in collaboration with AMD is going to create a new reference design for AMD LIVE! Home Cinema System.

AMD LIVE! Home Cinema System was introduced at Consumer Electronics Show 2007. AMD LIVE! Home Cinema System is a platform that combines the functionality of a PC with that of a Home Theater system that integrates a high performance amplifier, allowing owners to access and store high definition content such as movies and broadcasts, along with DVR/PVR functionality,  music, photos, slide slows and internet content out of a single device.

The GDA Home Cinema System reference design includes the ATI TV Wonder Digital Cable Tuner, a D2Audio digital amplifier and a DVD burner. This Home Cinema System is able to serve the functions in audio visual devices including a DVD player, DVR and set-top box.

The AMD LIVE! Home Cinema System is designed to help consumers simplify their digital lifestyle, eliminating clutter under the television and reducing the number of remote controls.
